Yarrow is now 5 and a half weeks old. Her eyes are open, she's getting steadier on her feet and starting to explore out of the nest. Ivy does not totally approve! Holly's kits, Paris, Hector, Cassandra and Hecuba are 4 and a half weeks, still blind and crawling but eating mince happily. Again, Holly doesn't totally approve! I find it interesting that Yarrow's only half the size of Holly's kits, The Trojans their mothers are littersisters, the same size to within a few grams of each other in weight, and you'd think the single kit would get more milk and grow bigger but no! I look forward to finding out if the size difference lasts into adulthood. Excuse the state of the cages, by the way this was right before the daily clean out!
