We recently had to make some cage modifications for our elderly/handicapped ferret, Kreacher. If your ferret is getting older, or has a handicap (Kreacher has only 3 legs), sometimes you might need to update their cage to accommodate them!

When Kreacher's leg was first removed, he had no issues climbing, jumping and moving around. Now that he's older, he's started having some mobility issues, even with something as simple as climbing a ramp.

We go over how we make things more accessible for him in his cage!
