Sadly, calls to rescue animals trapped in fencing are a relatively common occurrence here. Whilst, thankfully, many are only wedged and just need a little help to wriggle free, some cases are much more severe and require medical treatment.

Simon and Lawrie were called out to help this feisty vixen after she became trapped. Sadly, protruding nails had left her with several nasty injuries and she needed surgery if she were to make it back to the wild.
