Sam, Ben, and Dad went scuba diving and snorkeling at the Lusong Gunboat Shipwreck, one of the toprated reefs in Coron, Palawan, Philippines. It is a shipwreck from WWII in shallow water (10 meters deep) and lying at an angle, making it ideal for our family. The coral and fish around the shipwreck were beautiful. We swam around the boat several times and then entered inside. It was really cool to go in and out of the different rooms and levels of the ship.

While we were scuba diving, Heather, Lily, Jake, JoeJoe, and Grace were snorkeling and captured some great footage of the shipwreck from above.

After diving around the shipwreck, we swam along the coral reef and saw some spectacular coral and some awesome fish. Dad's favorite was a fish that looked like a clownfish with long fins that waved as it swam, like a dancing skirt. We also saw several big anemones with clownfish.

When we came up, Grace was excited to see Daddy. It was fun to share the fun of this amazing dive with our family.
