We recently spent some time in Devon, UK and planned a fabulous family day out.
Babbacombe beach has something for everyone, a pub lunch or perhaps some paddle boarding. The heart of the English riviera is bustling with fun and we started our day with a hike to the Babbacombe cliff top railway.
The walk was challenging in some places but really good fun. There are crumbling steps to climb, tree routes to jump over and even mini waterfalls.
My children are 10 years old and 3 years old. They wore sensible walking shoes. My youngest struggled a little bit she’s not the best walker.
You will need card for the cliff railway and there is ice cream at the top.
The views are insane and on a clear day you can see across to Portland Bill in Dorset
At the end of your circular walk why not treat yourself to a cool paddle in the sea and a spot of crabbing. The food at the Cary’s Inn pub is really good too.
