The prewar world was one of immense possibility. The "world of tomorrow" offered luxuries and opportunities never before available to mankind. However, brewing underneath the surface was discontent that bubbled into the most cataclysmic war that mankind had ever experienced. The SinoAmerican War was the one that ultimately led to the new dark age we find ourselves within the Fallout Universe.
