Part 22 In this video I show the entire start to finish process of building custom fenders for my off grid overland cargo trailer camper conversion. This is part 1 of the series where I design and 3d model the fenders and then meet up with a fabricator. Together, we welded 1" square steel tube and 16 gauge steel plate. The fenders are bolted to the frame of the trailer using 1/2" x 3" bolts. The fenders are spray painted matte black. In part 2 I will fabricate the removable portion that will act as a ramp and ski.
