This is one of the coldest nights I have ever camped alone in the wilderness. 41 is absolutely freezing and dangerous. But I am well prepared and sheltered from the extreme cold in my canvas tent.
I have lots of wood for my wood stove. I have many players of clothes, food, tea, and a 40 sleeping bag.
I can feel the air hit my lungs when it is this cold. It almost takes my breath away. But there is something I absolutely love about breathing that bitter cold.
On this night an extreme cold warning sets in, making it magical.
I am in the remote wilderness and there is no one near me for miles around. But I have a first ad kit, and a way to contact home in case anything goes wrong.
Come with me for the adventure, and stay for the extreme cold.
