I installed the Tech Deck Extreme Duty in my truck and this is the how to installation video. All in all this is a really great product and definitely recommend it as a way to be done with suction cups.

At the end you can see the setup I am running full time and it's great for a phone.

The 6" arm was too long for what I wanted and it held the phone too close to me. It got in the way a lot. Especially when it was on the top left ball. Not as bad when it was on the top right.
