Extending The Stringers To The Transom

Follow
BoatworksToday

Some stringers are cored, others are hollow like what I'm working with on the Bertram. This is a little hack that I've used several times for fabricating storage lockers, ice chests and well as stringers in repair :)

The same method can also be used for forming radiuses on hard dodgers, biminis or cut up into medallions for making backers for filling large holes.

It's surprising how much flexibility there is and what kind of options there are when working with single layers of glass!

Hope this is helpful for your upcoming projects!
