I stayed at the Howard Miller Steelhead County Park in Rockport, Washington. The first part of the video shows the drive on the North Cascades Highway 20. I turned around before Winthrop and show crossing Washington Pass. I also drove to Darrington, Washington to the Mountain Loop Highway where I stopped at the North Saulk River Trailhead and crossed Barlow Pass. This video documents my first time in the North Cascades. In future visits I hope to have more thoughts to share. My goals always seem to be to find old growth primary forests.
