This video contains:

Squirclusion (Square Circle Illusion): from one particular point of view this sculpture looks like a circle inside a square, from another, a square inside a circle a matter of perspective!

Tautochrone Curve: a cycloid curve, when specifically oriented as shown, becomes a tautochrone path which has the special property that the time it takes for an object to slide to the bottom under gravity is the same no matter how high it starts up the curve. Also, the time it takes is always equal to pi times the square root of the cycloid radius divided by g.

Aquarius Fountain Lamp: an oscillating stream of water is illuminated by strobe lights to reveal underlying structures and forms typically hidden from our vision. With the help of programmable microcontrollers, strips of addressable RBG LEDs are made to flash in sequences that make the water stream appear to move upwards, change colors, and split into multiple braided streams.

Chaotic Kinetic Sculpture: kinetic energy is passed between the two conjoined spheres on each side in a mathematically chaotic way in this motion sculpture sold as "Jupiter". The base has a simple circuit that gives the bottom sphere a push on each swing so the motion continues until the 9V battery runs out.

Vintage Flicker Bulb: the flexible 15 Watt carbon filament in this bulb oscillates back and forth producing a slight resemblance to a flickering flame.
Light bulb physics!

Cosmic Rays in Cloud Chamber (exploratorium): Visualizing the invisible we live in a constant rain of charged subatomic particles that pass through the atmosphere (and our bodies) at relativistic speeds. The fleeting white lines and streaks seen here mark the paths of these cosmic ray particles through amplification via a phase change. The cloud chamber, with refrigeration on the bottom and heater elements on top, creates a 10cm thick region of supersaturated alcohol vapor that is at a temperature below its condensation point. Energetic charged particles produce a trail of ions (atoms with an electron knocked off) and these ions become the center of the drops that form the white trails showing the path of the particles. With special thanks to the Exploratorium!

Sodium Fluorescein: this organic compound acts as a special dye that absorbs energy of blue and UV light and then emits it as green light.

Magnetic Flux Gyroscope: kinetic art on a stand (or on a chain) physics you can wear!

Spin Top Carousel: two spin tops of the same mass hang balanced on the ends of a beam such that their rotational motion is allowed to transfer to the system as a whole. The tops are set to spin as usual, but here small neodymium magnets are embedded in the tops of their stems which allows them to connect and hang from metal pins in the beam. The physics of how the angular momentum of the tops is transferred to the rotation of the system of this new toy is still under study. Made by German artisan Kurt Juergen Weigl.
