Any seasoned heavyduty mechanic will tell you that the job can go sideways at any moment. Things started off normal enough, Cam and his apprentice, Carson, had an excavator repair job from Rent1. Just a leaky excavator swing drive on their Komatsu PC200LC8. Nothing too bad, right?

Haha nope. The Komatsu excavator repair doesn’t go so well and first, they try some good old percussive maintenance with a sledgehammer. Then get savvy with a Komatsu PC490 field press. Then a 50ton shop press…

And that’s when the housing blew up.

Turns out the excavator swing drive shaft wasn’t installed properly.
Can they order and deliver parts in time to finish the Komatsu excavator repair that day?
