I have been talking about switched reluctance motors, which are often overshadowed by induction motors and synchronous motors and are not talked about very often.
Is it easier to use a synchronous reluctance motor than a switched reluctance motor?
Synchronous motors also utilize the reluctance torque of the rotor in addition to the magnet torque of the magnet.
