Come watch the Dorset lambs playing outside as we do our daily chores!

We show you how we prepare Little Miss Muffet, our tiny Dorset ewe lamb, and her mother to leave the bonding jug and graduate on to the family pen. We record and tag the little lamb, and we deworm and trim the hooves of her mother before they are ready to be released.

We also visit with Little Mister, our pet Dorset ram lamb, who has been moved into the pen with the younger lambs so that he can continue getting his daily bottle feeding.

We averted a disaster at the end of chores as we discovered a caste ewe who had rolled onto her back and couldn't right herself back up. Sheep can perish if left too long in this position, so it was lucky we discovered her when we did.

We decided to take the afternoon off and go for a hike, so stay tuned tomorrow as we put on our Wandering Shepherds' hats and head out for a hike.
