I’ve updated my backpacking kit and I want to show you everything that I bring! After I tried ultralight backpacking I started to think of ways I could make my core backpacking kit lighter, and these are the changes I’ve made to do just that! As y'all know I'm not an ultralight backpacker. I like to bring luxuries that make me more comfortable at camp. But after trying ultralight backpacking I wanted to find ways to lighten my pack to keep me comfortable on trail. With my new core backpacking kit, I think I’ve achieved just that. I've made significant reductions to my base weight, while still bringing all the comfort items I hold dear! Watch to the end to see how light my pack is now! Spoiler alert: it's a lot lighter.
