A conversation about quick hitch types and why I chose these euro style hooks for my tractor.

Hooks are generally more versatile than one piece quick hitches even though they can be more expensive and this type required welding. Hooks trade a separate top link attachment to be able to fit more implements and to allow better access to the PTO shaft.

Compared to the Pat’s Easy Change system there are no issues with keeping the hooks snug on the lower link arms and the lock is sturdier. The ball and socket system keeps the implement pins securely in place with full range of motion, but without any slop or play in the connection.
