Hey everyone, I'm Shane. Here at etrailer, we install, test fit, and review different products to hopefully make your experience much better. Today I have a 2018 Coachmen Leprechaun Motorhome. I'm gonna walk ya through how to install the wheel master valve stem extenders. Valve stem extenders on a motor home, make it much easier if you're trying to add pressure, decrease pressure in your tires. Or maybe you wanna add a tire pressure monitor system A tire pressure monitor system is a little sensor that screws on the top of the valve stem.

If we didn't have the extenders on, it'd be hard to get the sensor on to the actual valve stem on the tire. You can find the TPMS systems here at etrailer. This is what our stem extensions are gonna look like when they're on. They're gonna be three inches long, they're gonna be a solid nickel plated brass, they're gonna come with matching valve caps, and they're just gonna screw directly on to your factory, or existing valve stems. Keep in mind these are not gonna work on rubber valve stems.

The rubber valve stems will not hold the weight of 'em. These are gonna come in a set of two. We do offer different types of valve stem extenders that you can find here at etrailer. We have 45 degree angled, we have u shaped, and we have flexible, front wheel and rear wheel. I do recommend checking to see how your valve stems are installed on your tires to make sure you get the correct valve stem extensions.

Now that we've gone over some of the features, let's walk you through how to get 'em installed. What we need to do is we need to locate the valve stem coming from the back wheel, and the front wheel. Our back one is right here, and our front one is right up in here. So we'll just remove the caps that are on 'em. You can see they're kinda hard to get to.

And we're gonna take our extender and add it in there. So i'm using a 7/16 open end wrench, to try and get that tight in there as much as I can. Then once we get it on what we'll do, take some soapy water and we're gonna spray it. Right where we made the connection, down to the tire. Wanna see if it's leaking anywhere. Even though we can't hear it, it may form some small bubbles. If it's forming small bubbles, it means your valve stem is leaking a little bit, and you need to tighten it up a little bit more. Once you've done one, you're going to repeat the process for the other one. Once you get one side done, you're gonna repeat the process on the other. So i'm doing it for a look at an installation on the Wheel Master valve stem extenders, on a 2018 Coachmen Leprechaun Motorhome..
