In my 8year experience in teaching adults, I realized that one question that must influence our teaching decisions and techniques would be the question: “WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME?”. Me as in the student! By human nature, adults like you and I are selfish and selfless beings. We can be selfless when we sacrifice for our loved ones and selfish when our actions are motivated by our personal interests.
