Step 1. Print a nozzle Check.
Step 1a. Do not proceed with cleaning unless printer ink is full. Not having full ink may cause damage to the printhead.
Step 2: Unplug Printer
In order for the printhead to be out of place and be worked on. You must unplug the printer while it is printing. This will not cause damage to the printer if done less than a few times.
Step 3.Unscrew Printhead Cover.
Step 4: Place paper towel under the
printhead.
Step 5: Pull out vein of color you are having issues with.
Step 6: Place Syringe tubing over printer nozzel and apply pressure to push cleaning solution through.
Bonus Step: Using the empty syring suck
in some of the ink and push it back in to
add additional pressure to the ink
compartment.
Step 7: Remove syringe tubbing.
Step 8 : Reattach printer vein.
Step 9: Remove paper towel.
Step 10: Place printhead cover back on.
Step 11. Turn printer on and attempt to print a nozzle Check Report.
Step 12. Print color pictures until all color come back to normal.
Step 13. Repeat process if necessary.

The reason the eco tank models are more prone to print quality issues is due to the marketing from

Epson that the ink will last for 2 years. This means people think they dont have to check or buy ink
for 2 years. Except when you print more than 150 pages per month and now your ink is empty and damaging your printhead by running it with low ink. This is what causes the damage. Do not allow your ink levels to get too low.
