Most folks visit California's Redwood Coast to see the giant coastal redwood trees, the tallest trees on Earth. We were last here five years ago, and while we spent most of our 2018 visit touring Redwood National & State Parks, this time we wanted to see other things this area has to offer, in addition to these stately trees and we found plenty! While RV camping at Golden Bear RV Park we'll tour some giant redwoods, hike to Hidden Beach and Fern Canyon, visit Crescent City, kayak the Klamath River, find a disguised World War II radar station, and even survive a tense showdown with a large black bear and her cub, so come along!
