On our route to Janakpur we visited the birth place of Great poet Shir Vidyapati ji and after reaching Janakpur we had dinner of local food of Mithila region.

Hotel in Madhubani We started our day in the Morning from outside of Hotel Jalsha & had morning tea.

Earlier I stayed at Deep Jyoti Hotel, which was also good but this Jalsha hotel I found to be a little better.

Kulhad Making at Village After this, on the way to Ahilya Sthan we stopped at the village and saw & understood the “Kulhad making Process” there.

Vidyapati Ji Birth Place After this we reached the village Bisfi, this village is the birthplace of the great poet of the Mithila region Vidyapati Ji, this village is 25 km from the Madhubani.

This is the place where Lord Shiva served as a servant in the form of Vidyapati Ji's house.

We Visited the Ugna Mahadev Temple in Madhubani & Understood the story of Ugna ( Mahadev ) Ji there, just in case if you missed watching that episode you may check out the below link.

Maa Bhagwati Temple Then we visited Maa Bhagwati Temple & had darshan there, here Vidayapti Ji used to worship of Maa Bhagwati. This temple is at 100 meter walking distance from birth place of Vidyapati ji.

Peda at Kokila Chowk After this we travelled around 1 km and reached at Kokila chowk to taste here famous Peda.

Dinner at Janakpur ( Nepal ) We had dinner at a Restaurant Mithila Thali by Chef Santosh, Janakpur. We had the special Mithila Thali for dinner.

We enjoyed the dinner here & after this, we ended our day
