Cheese might be one if not the most important food item in European's culinary culture. Not everyone loves it and there are certainly some of them who scare people off with their harsh smell and flavor. However, I consider myself a near to "hardcore cheese lover" that only avoids a very small selection of cheeses. Most cheeses for me are a great culinary experience full of European culture. Every country in Europe loves cheese in a different way and in some countries, like France, each region with its unique animals, ground and weather conditions produces its own excellent and peerless kinds of cheese. With many hundreds of different sorts of cheese out there it is impossible to put them all under one roof in terms of culinary attributes. Sometimes they don't share more than the fact that they were made from milk.
In China milk products are slowly getting more popular and also the use of cheese is on the rise. Mozzarella on Pizza and Pasta can be found in many restaurants across China. Some regions even produce cheesesimilar products. However many people still have a long road to go to see cheese in the ways Europeans see it.
