The iconic round tower was consecrated by Heraclius, the Patriarch of Jerusalem in 1185. The design of the round tower was intended to resemble the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. She gets inside the tiny penitential cell where Walter Bachelor was supposedly starved to death on the orders of the Master of the Temple. She discovers how the Temple was rebuilt after one of the most devastating German air raids of the Blitz during World War Two. And she even has a go on the church's famous organ, which was used for the score of the 2014 Hollywood blockbuster, Interstellar.

Finally, Alice unveils the secrets of Wells Cathedral, the first gothic cathedral to be built in England, getting up close and personal with all aspects of the building's history. Among other things, that means abseiling down the cathedral's facade not for the faint hearted!
