Engine room of a 300 000 ton oil tanker (VLCC) bonus: Boilers u0026 Engine control room
I made a walkaround of the engineroom of a very large oil tanker. This ship has about 300 000 DWT, and at fully loaded its draft is too deep for the Suez channel. They have massive powerful steam cargo pumps, so they need large boilers to power them. Also managed to have a look through the engine control room for you hard core ship nerds.
