Encountered a dirty little dog, seemed homeless for more than a day or two. It had a rope around its neck, making me think it might have an owner.
There were cat food leftovers on the car, so I fed it some. After feeding, it seemed ready to leave. Turning around, I found it still looking at me reluctantly; my heart felt really heavy.
Already in the car ready to leave, I hesitated. Dirty and thin, it didn't look like a pet. I couldn't shake the worry, so I got off the car and went back to find it.
