Enchanted Rock is the largest Pink granite manodnock in the United States at an elevation of 1,825 ft it raises 425 ft above the surrounding landscape. Thank natural area contains small man made depressions that were once used to ground seeds into flour. more recent indigenous people including the Lipan Apache, Comanche and Tonkawa consider the dome to be haunted by spirits that have the ability to cast spells on intruders.
