Samantha Poirier is an emergency medical pilot who has dedicated her life to saving others. After years of hard work and dedication, Samantha has become UCHealth LifeLine's first female pilot.

We take a walk around the Airbus H125 helicopter, getting an upclose look at the stateoftheart technology and equipment that Samantha and her team rely on to complete lifesaving missions. Flying an EMS helicopter requires intense focus and precision. Whether it's an accident on the highway or a remote wilderness rescue, Samantha and her team are always ready to take off and save lives.
