In this tutorial I am going to recycle all my UV resin scraps into a 9" tray.
Step 1: first I am putting a Mandela stencil in the center and brushing it with Lets Resin color shift mica powder in three different colors, Sienna, Saddle Brown and Papaya Whip.
Step 2: I spread all the cut up pieces of UV resin around the outer edge of the tray.
Step 3: I mix up 8oz of Lets Resin casting resin and pour that slowly over the cut up pieces to allow the resin to get in and around the chunks, then I pour enough to cover the center. Let that cure to a tacky state.
Step 4: I mix up another 8oz and mix in a sparkle white mica powder and 5 drops of white castin craft. fill the mold, let it cure.
Step 5: after demould there were a few bubbles from the chunks, so I top coated it with 2oz of Lets Resin casting resin. once cured, I went around the edge with a gold paint pen.
