Ellen welcomed Kevin Esch, who met Latonya Young when she was his Uber driver. After she mentioned that she couldn’t reenroll in college because of a balance owed, Kevin paid the remainder, and Latonya graduated – with Kevin in the audience at her commencement.

Ellen talked with them about their inspiring story, showed a special message from New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees, and revealed that her friends at Cheerios had an amazing gift for each of them.
