Electrofishing Fish Shocking Explained
Electrofishing is used by fisheries biologists with the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission to sample fish populations in public waters in North Carolina from the mountains to the coast. The fish are temporarily stunned in the process, but can be safely released unharmed back into the water.
