Eat: BACK ALLEY PASTA a Hidden Treasure in Ampang Kuala Lumpur

Back Alley Pasta (nonhalal) is a hidden, artisanal and locally handcrafted pasta restaurant with limited capacity which requires reservation or advance booking. Our booking took 2 months and we eventually enjoyed our meal at Back Alley Pasta back in midDec, 2021. So things may have changed a bit by the time you watch this video. From what I read online, they increased the seating capacity a little so that should help with the booking queue at Back Alley Pasta.

Overall, food wise during our visit was great, but I have to admit that their Hokkaido Scallop Pasta was kinda underwhelming for the price. That being said, the standout dishes we loved was their Pork Katsu with Asian Pesto Rice and Squid Ink Tagliolini Carbonara. If you stick with their popular dishes, I am sure you will have an enjoyable meal at Back Alley Pasta. I guess the best thing about dining here is to see Chef Jay and his team cook and craft their pasta creations in front of our eyes but those front seats are not easy to get.
