If you're looking for the BEST WAY on how to weed eat or string trim around your chain link fence without breaking trimmer line then you might want to give this a try. Aside from weed whacking around chain link fence you could also try smothering the grass underneath the fence line using something like shingles. I have done this method with the fence before as well.
