Jazz up your hallway or doorway with this single stitch one row repeat pattern.

I used a chunky yarn and a 5mm hook to create a dense stitch so the rug would withstand foot traffic and be washable.

INSTRUCTIONS
(US terms Half Double Crochet (US) = Half Treble (UK)

1. Chain to the width you want + 2 chain
2. *2 half double crochet in 3rd chain from hook
3. Skip a Chain**
4. Repeat from * to ** to last stitch
5. 2 chain and turn
6. Work subsequent rows making 2 half double crochet in between the half double crochet from the previous row.
7. When you have finished weave in the ends.
