Most people use a rake to rake up the leaves and then make piles, bag the leaves, and then throw them away. That is a waste of a lot of organic matter. The easiest way to rake, shred, and bag leaves at the same time is to use a mower. I use a low powered electric mower which does a great job in picking up the leaves. You can pickup the leaves from grass, gravel, and even concrete.
