This very short video shows how I repaired a crack in the suction tube on a Dyson DC14 vacuum cleaner using SCIGRIP 16 10319 Acrylic Cement.

When a family member brought this vacuum to me to look at they were complaining that it was not picking up well at all on carpet. When I looked it over I found that the brush was not turning with any force and that turned out to be the belts and clutch which I replaced . (I have another video on that) I also noticed this crack on the suction tube on inspection.
I used this SCIGRIP 16 Acrylic cement that works really well on these hard to glue plastics and thought I would share that.

If you are looking for a really good plastic cement that works on many different plastics this may work for you. This is not a affiliate association I am promoting just passing along information. I have found the small 1.5oz tube online but it is harder to find than larger industrial sizes used by acrylic display case makers.
