When God Emperor of Dune opens Malky is the Ixian ambassador. All accounts say that the Lord, Leto was quite fond of Malky and that they shared many private discussions on various taboo subjects. The God Emperor saw that malky possessed the assiduous character of the Ixian people and also enough of their immorality to make him a balanced human. Leto saw as well, that Malkys weakness was his hedonistic nature. Malky was prone to bouts of pleasure seeking and selfindulgent behavior.
