Dump Truck Stuck in Muddy Disaster! Alex is back with another "easy" winch job for Big Flipper, our 75ton rotator. Just as some recent jobs, Alex decided to use the equalizing sling method using our famous Bailey's equalizing sling and a 15ton snatch block. The deep mud was no match for the brute strength of Big Flipper.

This method is by far the best method for these jobs. A lot of people ask why not just hook directly to the pins. First, when you do that, you do NOT have even tension on the lines. You will be putting more force on any given pin. The equalizing method distributes the force 50/50 on each pin throughout the entire job. This is useful for when the units are really heavy or stuck deep like this job.

Once the unit was out, the driver was able to take it from there. A lot of people also have issue (why lol) with Alex using a 75ton rotator on these jobs. This is his assigned truck, any job he gets he uses this truck. It doesn't matter because these private calls are quoted for the job, not for the equipment used. Whether I do it in a rollback or rotator, it's the same.
