SNOWDONIA National Park (aka ERYRI National Park, Welsh: Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri) is a mountainous region located in North Wales, covering an area of about 2,130 km2 (823 square miles). It is named after Mount Snowdon (Welsh: Yr Wyddfa), the highest peak in Wales and England, standing at 1085 metres (3560 ft) above sea level.
