Hey Guys, I ADOPTED A CAT!

I drove 3 hours during quarantine to pick up my cat (Wilfred) from Ontario SPCA! He was 10 weeks old and barely 2.5 lbs when I adopted him. Since I am a first time cat owner, I had a lot too learn and I was worrying about every little thing about the cat adoption process. Luckily OSPCA made it very easy for me and they helped me a lot along the way.

Wilfred is a very smart kitten and he loves to play. He is super cuddly and loves to be around people. I couldn't have asked for a better addition to our family.

Just wanted to provide some background to this video. Cats typically purr when they are happy and content but can also purr when they are anxious. In stressful situations, cats purr to calm themselves down. Although Wilfred doesn't seem stressed in the clips, he was having a very hard time in the car while we were driving. He was panting and crying. This wasn't shown in the video as I wasn't focused on filming at that time. As a first time cat parent, I was pretty concerned about his initial reaction to being in a moving car. He ended up adjusting really well to our driving after an hour or so, so I stopped being worried. We made multiple stops along the road due to his panting to make sure he was fine before we started driving again. Big thank you to all of you who are so nice and understanding. I really appreciate you!
