With lovingly restored GWR, 5700 Class Panier Tank No.4612 simmering at the head of 4 chocolate and cream BR Mk1 carriages we are ready to set off along the branch line from Bodmin General to Boscarne Junction. The ruling gradient is similar to that experienced on the route to Parkway station, with an almost continuous falling gradient of 1 in 40. At Boscarne Junction our little engine runs round its train ready to return up the challenging gradient to Bodmin General.
