Drill straight and accurate. Drill guide for cordless or portable drills. This simple drilling guide DIY is a useful jig for drilling straight 90 degree perpendicular holes. I have a very small drill press, which works ok, but is obviously not mobile for hand drilling straight accurate holes. Not as accurate as the commercial type drilling jigs, but this simple design will help improve your accuracy.
There are many takes on this design. I made mine for my most used drill bits, including regular twist bits, forstner bits up to 1 inch and spade bits up to 1 inch.
