Telling apart dragonflies from damselflies isn't actually that hard once you get some pointers! A quick, easy reference made for our team.

1) Dragonflies are usually bigger and thicker than damselflies. 2) Damselflies have eyes that are not touching while most dragonflies have eyes that do touch. 3) Dragonflies have broad bases to their winds and damselflies have narrow bases. 4) Dragonflies spread their wings when perched while most damselflies fold them. 5) Dragonflies usually have a much faster, zippier flight while damselflies tend to flutter and float about.
