This video is another one from my travels to Beach Performance. I have seen so many rare engines, and talked with Bob about all kinds of things. From racing to rarity. In this episode Which begins by showing his Ford 427 Sohc motor, AKA the Cammer, that is going to put in his 64 Galaxy XL. Some DOVEc heads, more unique Ford Iron. Then the disclaimer, if your a FORD guy, better not watch anymore.... However, if you are a Ford, guy, or any engine guy, you will appreciate the Flat Plane crank 350. How many have you seen one, or heard one for that matter. It has a sound you have never heard from a V8 engine. Remember, with the 90 degree V8, there are two pistons up at time, whereas, the with Flat plane crank, 4 pistons up at the same time. It has the unique sound of a nasty screaming 4 cylinder. Bob said that it was from Junior Johnson's, but I also read that smokey Yunick had these made for Indy. Do not know much about them, so comment below. I have seen some other vids on this.

Also he will show a set of Dodge Hell Cat pistons, that too much boost, and detonated, just a quick show and tell. You can see Bobs 66 Corvette, he raced in super comp, back in the day. I think he said it went a best of 8.30s. It ran a Clutch less 4 speed, and a Lenco. Another rarity being machined, is a 1959 348 Chevy block. Talks about a magneto, and just fun to listen too.
