Doug the 14 week old Boston Terrier puppy has completed his 3 week residential training stay with us.

His owners wanted to give him the best start in life and build a good foundation for his obedience training.

During his stay we have taught him his basic obedience skills. Little Doug can walk through busy town centres and shops on a loose lead and remain focused for a period of time. He is able to wait and focus in both the sit and down positions and is reliable in busy environments.

His recall from people and dogs is very good as we have engaged with Doug on walks ensuring that he can interact with dogs yet return when required. With all these skills Doug’s owners can relax and enjoy their time out with him with their children.

At home we have taught Doug the early stages of settling on cue but also allowed him supervised freedom to help him to self settle.

We have continued with his toilet and crate training to ensure he is a joy to live with as well as take out.

Overall Doug has been a little superstar and an absolute pleasure to live with and train.
