In the third quarter of G2 between Cleveland Cavaliers & Boston Celtics, Donovan Mitchell scored 18 points & Darius Garland hit 3 3s.

That was exactly what the Cavs imagined when they envisioned the pairing of this deadly duo in the backcourt.

The question now can they get that production more consistently?

Donovan Mitchell banked in a 3pointer from a few steps beyond the top of the arc and could only shrug as he backpedaled back on defense.

He followed with two baskets in the lane to give the Cleveland Cavaliers a 16point lead.

“Sometimes you get lucky,” Mitchell said after scoring 29 points to help Cleveland beat Boston 11894 on Thursday night. “Shooters shoot.”
