Hello, this is Dale Carson, Attorney Jacksonville, Florida. On the previous video, we have mentioned not to speak to the police or give them too much information during an investigation. They are going to call you and say "Come on down, we just need to talk for a few minutes, it won't take long." It is important to zip your lips and don't answer any questions, it's a trap. They are going to act like they are your best friend to get you to say something.

The police officers are permitted to lie to you. There is no penalty for doing that. Give them your information (Drivers License) and say here is my information, I am represented by counsel and I don't have anything to say and end it there.

Don't let the police trick you, conjuel you. It's implied reciprocity. They are nice to you and you gotta be nice to them. It is important to understand to not give the police more information than they ask for including your phone number. Why not your phone number? They could track your location by the number you give them or through location services.

Don't talk to the police and certainly don't give them your phone number.
