In this video I’m going to discuss certifiedor gradedbullion coins. As a stacker, I strongly feel one should AVOID buying graded gold and silver. I’ll also tell you when "grades" really DO matter. Any make sure to watch to the end to see me cut out one of slabbed coins. The Sheldon coin grading scale, created in 1949 and then improved in the 70s went a LONG WAY in helping numismatists determine the quality of coinsfrom “worn” all the way to “perfect". People buy higherpremium graded silver and gold coins for a lot of reasons, and I discuss some of them while we look at my three graded itemsan "ultra cameo" 1982S George Washington commemorative half dollar, graded by NGC as a PF69, an MS69 "First Strike" gold buffalo that I bought from Tim last year, and an MS70 George Patton collector coin as a total splurge! Bottom line? When stacking bullion, “grades” don't matter! However, before I cut the gold buffalo out of its "plastic prison", I let you in on when superhigh grades DO matter! Gold found in a gold mine! Protect yourself from outofcontrol governments, evil central banks, and the failing US dollar's grip as the world's reserve currency. Make sure you build a stack of silver rounds, silver bars, silver coins, and gold coins as essential barter and wealth preservation!
