I know it sounds like a clickbait title but I assure you, this video delivers. The AT2035 is widely considered the best sounding microphone in the AudioTechnica 20 series of microphones. Priced around $150, it's got a great sound to it but what if I told you there's another brand name microphone with almost the exact same specs, that sounds nearly identical (better actually) and can be purchased for less money... Interested?

Note: AudioTechnica calls their microphone series the 20 and 40 series as opposed to the 2000 and 4000 series like I called them in this video. I've always called them that so I'll likely not change soon.
