Don't buy a new computer create a Virtual Machine in Azure Cloud instead.

One of the most frequently asked questions I get is whether students should buy new computers when starting a new program or career.

There are many cases where this makes sense but not always especially when you can run a fast, powerful computer in the Cloud.

In this video, I’ll cover some basic concepts of Cloud Virtual Machines, demonstrate how to create a Windows 10 PC in Azure, and connect to the cloud VM three times! Once from another Windows PC, once from an iPad, and finally from a Raspberry Pi 400.

My name is Frank and I've been teaching postgraduate programs in technical subjects for almost 25 years. My Master's Degree is in Learning and Technology (from Royal Roads University in Victoria, BC where they filmed the XMen movies!).

From productivity Applications like Teams, OneNote, Excel, and the entire Microsoft Office suite to tools such as Mindmapping, Metaverse, VR, AR, and more I like to see how we can use tools to leverage our ability to teach and learn.
